Images help tell the story of that night

The story of May 30, 2005 not only can be told through Joran's own words which I have attempted to do here with his three significant interviews, Current Affair, ABC Primetime and his unedited interview on Fox with Greta van Susteren, but also from pictures representing that night. Now I would like to offer a pictorial trip through Joran's description of that night with a few significant images that also will tell his story.

The night actually begins with Natalee Holloway. Here is the one of the last pictures of Natalee with her friends on the beach, earlier that evening.

Joran's recollection of meeting Natalee . . .

I remember when I first saw her. I went there, I went to the casino, the Excelsior casino at the Holiday Inn, to play a free poker tournament. I remember walking in there and sitting at a... playing a... first playing a poker tournament, then afterwards, when I was done, going to a blackjack table and sitting down. And I remember her and her friends coming up to the table. They sat down. They wanted to play blackjack.
