Dallas continues . . .

When he told his son “No body no case? he practically admitted he either helped dispose of her body or knows his son and anyone else who may have helped him did. He seems to be very sure that her body will not be able to be found. His dad should not have been set free and he should have been forced to talk. If Jordan Van der Sloot didn’t kill her, then why has he kept lying and changing his story around so much? Why not just tell the truth?

And why did they wait 10 days to try to collect evidence from the suspects’ bodies, clothes, homes, and belongings. Most if not all the evidence could have been done away with by then. And why did they wait so long about searching certain areas, like the water for instance. Probably they knew that’s where she was disposed of so they didn’t want to find her, so they just wanted to avoid searching those areas. Either her body would be carried out to sea by the time they started searching, or her body would have decayed/been eaten by then. How do you know now that when they are searching for her they might have found her but pretend like they haven’t or found her remains and destroyed them to no one else’s knowledge. Anyway, the situation seems very fishy to me.

The release of the elder Van Der Sloot was met with chagrin by Holloway's family. Natalee's father Dave Holloway felt the release was a setback. He however said he intends to focus on finding his daughter not on the investigation. Dave will say this about Paul, "I still feel like he ... has some answers," he said of Paul Van Der Sloot. "But if we find Natalee, that will resolve the whole thing."

Beth Twitty spoke a little more strongly by saying this, "He definitely, definitely has information that he needs to step forward and be the man that he is and disclose that information," Twitty would also say she was frustrated over what she called "time wasted." "I wonder how much time they wasted in the investigation by checking out the Steve Croes story?" "I just do not want to waste any more energy or focus on the wrong individuals."

Dutch Video June 27, 2005

This is an interesting video I was just made aware of. You can hear Documentary maker, Renee Gielen interviewing both Beth Twitty and Tim Miller in the video.
