A drive to the Lighthouse

We then went for a drive to the Lighthouse area. Now there are a couple different ways to drive to the Lighthouse, but either way one goes it is more than a five minute drive. The drive all the way up to the Lighthouse is pretty far from the beach area, and a long way really from Carlos 'N Charlies. At least that was what my mind was telling me now that I had been to the various locations thus mentioned on that fateful night. Anita and I got out at the Lighthouse and it was so beautiful. Forgetting all that came before regarding this location, all I could really think about was its beauty.

I am someone that loves the look of the desert so it was indeed a special spot of beauty for me. The dunes surround this area and yes the top layer might be a bit sandy. This however was not a location that easily any body could ever be buried was my immediate conclusion. The ground was like concrete. It made me wonder why they kept spending so much time on searches here, when it would seem the last place to ever be burying any body. It also was not quite as big of an area as the media had made me believe. All in all, a beautiful location, but not one I would ever think relevant to this mystery.

Natalee Holloway, Jan Brennan Visits Aruba - 13

A vacation I will never forget. The people I met, the places I visited all held such a significance to me because of this case. There is nothing like an up close and personal perspective to understand a subject better. by    Jan Brennan
